Pawan Bhatnagar is the Founder and Managing Director of Kasvu Consulting, an Indo-Finnish management consulting firm supporting international companies with India market entry, business development, stakeholder engagement, and strategic partnerships.
He brings together experience from military leadership, corporate management, and international business consulting. Prior to founding Kasvu Consulting, Pawan served for 26 years in the Indian Army, where he held leadership and operational responsibilities across diverse regions of India. This experience provided him with first-hand exposure to India’s varied business environments, regional dynamics, and institutional landscape.
Since establishing Kasvu Consulting, Pawan has worked with companies, trade promotion organisations, embassies, industry associations, and investment agencies seeking to understand and engage with the Indian market. His work has included market studies, business development programmes, stakeholder engagement initiatives, partner identification, trade delegations, and B2B matchmaking activities across sectors including defence and aerospace, energy, manufacturing, industrial technologies, and sustainability.

Kasvu Consulting designed and executed a virtual business matchmaking programme for Enterprise Estonia focused on the defence and security sector. The initiative connected Estonian defence technology companies with leading Indian defence manufacturers and industry stakeholders through structured B2B engagements, market orientation, stakeholder mapping, and business development support.
Estonian Wood & Timber Industry Delegation (2024)
Kasvu Consulting organised and managed an Estonian trade delegation comprising ten leading wood and timber companies under a programme implemented by Enterprise Estonia (EAS) and co-funded by the European Union.
The delegation programme was conducted across Mumbai and Kandla and included stakeholder engagements with Indian industry representatives, importers, distributors, logistics stakeholders, and sector experts. The initiative provided participating companies with direct exposure to India’s timber and wood products market, supply chain ecosystem, regulatory environment, and commercial opportunities.
Kasvu Consulting was responsible for local programme execution, stakeholder engagement, business matchmaking, and facilitating interactions with key industry participants to support the commercial objectives of the participating Estonian companies.
German Defence & Security Industry Delegation to India (July 2026)
In collaboration with trAIDe GmbH & Co. KG and under the patronage of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Kasvu Consulting is supporting a German Defence and Security Industry Delegation to India.
The programme will bring together fourteen German companies active in defence, maritime security, cyber security, civil protection, and critical infrastructure. Activities will be conducted in Bengaluru and Pune and include stakeholder engagement, B2B meetings, industry interactions, and institutional exchanges. Kasvu is supporting the programme through stakeholder outreach and engagement activities in collaboration with SAITI, Bengaluru, and MCCIA, Pune.
Indian Defence Manufacturing Delegation to Finland (September 2026)
Kasvu Consulting is supporting a delegation of Indian defence manufacturing companies from the Pune defence cluster to Finland on behalf of MCCIA Pune and under the patronage of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland.
The programme is intended to facilitate engagement between Indian and Finnish defence industry stakeholders and explore opportunities for industrial cooperation, technology partnerships, and bilateral business development within the defence manufacturing ecosystem.
